Markers on Strathmore 400 drawing paper
On a recent stroll through the Saratoga Battlefield park I visited the site of a painting od a horse and rider on a forest path (see below) that I had made some 18 years ago. I looked for the group of birches that are depicted behind the horse and rider. The trees had died. The remains of their trunks are sketched in this series of drawings.
